I find the new way of selecting cursors not too user-friendly. It's
associated with themes - either you go through the themes-setting menus,
or go through the screen background dialog. Neither makes much sense to
me.

It's sufficienly obscure that I had to go find this bug report to find
out how to change the cursor.

The old way (current in Debian) of doing it in the mouse dialog is much
more sensible, since the cursor is closely associated with the mouse or
other pointing device. It took NO searching around to find out how to
change the cursor, since the association with the mouse is so obvious.

Also, having to 'edit' a theme to set the cursor changed some of my
screen settings, such as the colors of the top and bottom panels. That
is very undesireable!

IMHO this should be changed back.
