I have uploaded my xorg.0.log and xorg.conf but I no longer have the debilitating screen glitches (See attachment) and so suspect there may be little to go on in the files. I still have the resolution thing going on (Irrational Hz and undetectable display settings) and crashing 3d screensavers. The flashes of random colours continue on startup but since they don't seem to hurt performance I am not too worried. I have been fully updating so perhaps they have done their job:)
