I have the same problem with thing hanging and requiring a reboot. I'm using Hardy with 2.6.24-19-generic and a Belkin FD7050 v4xxx. Hangs when using Wicd or Network Manager to connect to the wireless. The scroll and caps lock lights end up flashing on the PS/2 keyboard. Things were working very nicely under Gutsy.
