motu-sru are responsible for providing the SRU. Normally a SRU is in the form of a small patch rather than being a new version of the package, which is why I believe it's taking a while to consider. I've been mentioning this bug in #ubuntu-motu the last couple of days to get it looked at, but progress is slow. I understand that this is a critical issue for gtk-gnutella users, so I've requested that the package be backported as this should be faster to implement.
