On a different system I noticed that gweather-applet-2 was reporting usage of around 55MB. Granted the system does have two instances of the applet running. However, after killing the process and allowing it to restart, it's now only reporting about 17 MB used, a significant difference.
It should be noted that the leak does not appear to be a rapid item. Both systems showing the increased usage have been running for quite a while. One is a desktop and the other a laptop.
