Sorry mate but I have binned this dreadful version of what was a decent bit of software before it got hooked up to Kubuntu/Ubiquity. I have no intention of trying to install it again.
The crash of PartMan completely trashed my hard disk, making it impossible to boot the previously installed version of Linux Mint 5 Gnome. This is in spite of the fact that I never made any choices when the Partition Manager had run. It showed my HDD as having no partitions, even though I knew there were three partitions (root, swap and home). I just cancelled the install at that point, but still found it had trashed the HDD. Using a live CD I found that fdisk could not even open /dev/sda and even qparted said "no device found". So thanks to whoever for hours of downloading a crappy dvd only to have it trash my HDD. 2008/8/12 Andreas Moog <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make > Ubuntu better.
