Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xl2tpd
Ubuntu 8.04.1 I'm in a following situation: Gigabit ethernet device eth1 Internet through l2tp tunnel. xl2tpd daemon must be started strictly after network is configured. But this behaviour is not defined: sometimes it starts after, and sometimes before network daemons. PS Debian network system sucks, I have similar issue with encrypted connections through certificates, and could only resolve it using rc.local. Please, refuse of this crap, it doesn't make its job properly. ** Affects: xl2tpd (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- start order of xl2tpd and network subsystem https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/256583 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
