This is obviously a problem with the Parameter "wmode" having a Value of "transparent". This parameter is designed to allow HTML with a higher z-index than an SWF module to overlap the SWF (z-index actually might not apply at all... it might be that ALL html will overlap the SWF).
Another example can be seen at www.streamingfaith.com/gospel. We coded the SWF video player with WMODE=Transparent so that the dropdown menus at the top of the page wouldn't be cut off by the Vidego flash video player. It works fine in all windows browsers. However, in firefox 3 for linux with Adobe flash player, the wmode=transparent doesn't seem to work at all.
