Hi,

I am having a similar issue with Hardy 8.04.1 with NFS Root. However its
very intermittent the nfsroot boots sometimes and other times it just
hangs at

[ 190.299018] RPC: Registered tcp transport module.
[ 190.334773] NET: Registered protocol family 17
IP-Config: eth0 hardware address 00:14:5e:16:36:73 mtu 1500 DHCP RARP
[ 190.486659] bnx2: eth0: using MSI

What I find very strange is sometimes the system will pause for around 5
minutes then start to work. I have changed the nfsroot options to
include the nolock options which I read could help reduce any long
pause. It has made little to no difference. I have attached a copy of
the boot log.

Regards,

James.
