Looking at the Wine AppDB page, it seems like it might be installable
now:

Could you try installing the ttf-liberation package (apt://ttf-
liberation) and then relaunching the installer?  If that doesn't work,
then try installing the msttcorefonts package (apt://msttcorefonts) and
see if that helps.
