Also, I should add that I have been printing successfully from OpenOffice using this printer for a long time. However, this problem has come up now and then, and I'm not sure why it somehow goes away.
-- I am unable to print from open office, I tried reinstalling open office but it did not work. I use a brother mfc240c printer and I am running Hardy.
