I just want to confirm this bug on my Mac Mini - Intel Core 2 Duo. In my case the problem appeared the first time after I switched from a 17" to a 24" Widescreen TFT from Eizo. Because I used Hardy Heron just a few days with my old monitor, the bug may has something to to with widescreen resolution...
