Sabastien, I apologize for taking so long to get back to you, but I'm using Xubuntu right now, so I had trouble finding an Ubuntu 8.04.1 desktop.
A fresh install of Ubuntu 8.04.1, however, does still have the same error when popping in a 'Blank DVD-ROM Disc'. It appears that when clicking 'Places > CD/DVD Creator', Nautilus will open burn:///.
