i have the same problem with 2.24-1 in 7.10 and 2.24-2 in 8.04. i'm sure the issue will carry on with 2.24-3 in 8.10. consistent pattern at least.
anyway, once i updated to mondo 2.2.5/mindi 2.0.2 in gutsy i was able to archive/restore. when i tried the new hardy mondo 2.24-2/mindi 2.24-3 packages, the archive/restore failed but after moving to mondo 2.2.6/mindi 2.0.3 i was able to archive/restore again. archiving and restoring work fine with mondo 2.2.6, mindi 2.0.3, mindi- busybox 1.7.3-1, afio, buffer, gawk, cdrecord, etc, etc but it would be nice to use the universe packages eventually. i'd hate to have to wait for something silly like mondorescue.org's working package having to catch up to the upstream version... -- Mondo fails to restore system because it uses UUIDs https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/248592 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
