Public bug reported: Steps to reproduce: 1. Enable autologin 2. Add to session the command: gnome-screensaver-command --lock 3. Reboot, (no, no ctrl+alt+backspace, do reboot).
Effects: GDM autologin and start gnome-screensaver correctly but any attempt to insert the (correct) password will cause a wrong password error. Workaround: Reboot X with CTRL+ALT+Backspace. The same sequence (gdm, autologin, gnome-screensaver) occours but the correct password will be accepted. ** Affects: gnome-screensaver (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Description changed: - Step to reproduce: + Steps to reproduce: 1.
