hello, I restarted my laptop but I chose kernel "18" instead "19"
My "login" screen was 800x600 and I connected on "admin user" The file xorg.conf was configured with Driver "vesa" and support only 800x600. So, I follow your instruction again : - sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg - sudo gedit /etc/X11/xorg.conf - Driver "nvidia"....restart ...and I can set my screen at 1280x800 so the problem only appear with "Ubuntu 8.04.1, kernel 2.6.24-19-generic" Thanks -- nvidia: low resolution since the last canonical update https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/250999 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
