@Julien That's strange, I'm connected to my home WPA network with no problems using my "method".
@pablo Yes to both. I'm currently transferring a lot of data from my bigger laptop to the Wind and the speed is about 1MB/s. My bigger laptop has the 4965AGN Intel card and the access point is an ASUS WL500W. That said, I've transferred over 10GB already at this speed without any stability/reliability issues. The range is also not very good. 4965AGN sees 8 available networks, the Realtek only 4 (when placed in the same spot). This is why the best thing I can do to get as much range and speed is to get the Intel card for the Wind as well. I ordered it for 25 EUR (38 USD), new. -- no support for realtek rtl8187se https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/246141 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
