Still not fixed in Hardy 8.04.1. So disappointing.

I'd like to use Ubuntu, but because of this bug and the fact that I'm
limited to 800x600 resolution, I've moved completely over to using
Kubuntu instead of Ubuntu. Kmail/Kontact fits my 800x600 screen just
fine. Looking at the date this was first reported, I see that this bug
was reported almost TWO years ago and still hasn't been fixed. Why has
the importance been set to low? For all of those people who's resolution
can't be set higher than 1024x768 or worse, 800x600, this bug IS
important because it makes evolution pretty much unusable. Maybe if the
developers used these lower resolutions, or at least tested the software
on these resolutions before shipping it, they'd treat this a little more
seriously.

Its the search bar, people. Make the search bar resizable like the other
toolbars. Or, at least give the user the option to hide the darned
search bar so the program can be usable on the lower resolutions. We've
been waiting for two years for this bug to be fixed, but the developers
just keep cranking out new versions of evolution without addressing this
issue. Please stop bumping this down the line and address it.
