OMS. I wish i saw this thread a few days ago. I have been wracking my brains out trying to fix this problem. I lost my sound after updating to a new kernal the other day. The sad thing is, i am pretty sure i have made everything even worse trying to find a soultion. Dammit. When is this going to be fixed... kind of ridiculous...
