I didn't notice dates in the changelog either, so I hopped over to their news section <http://pvpgn.berlios.de/index.php>. Although you were right; I was hasty in calculating the package age--I did so based off of the 1.8.2 release date. The actual application version (1.8.1) was released in August 2007, making this around 11 months old. I must have misread the date the first time and said 22 months old. My mistake. In any case, versions newer than 1.8.1 have been out for many months now, and that's where the package is.
