Hi Johan, Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. This bug did not have a package associated with it, which is important for ensuring that it gets looked at by the proper developers. You can learn more about finding the right package at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage . For now I'm going to assign this to the Ubuntu kernel aka the "linux" source package.
You mention that you are running a custom build 2.6.25 kernel. You also mention the bug being present in the Hardy (2.6.24) and Gutsy (2.6.22) kernels bug it wasn't clear to me from your report if the 2.6.25 kernel you are running resolves this bug? If the 2.6.25 kernel does resolve this issue for you you may want to also test the upcoming Intrepid Ibex kernel which is based on 2.6.26 just to verify this will be resolved in the upcoming release - http://www.ubuntu.com/testing . We can then try to narrow down a patch and try to get it through the SRU (stable release update - https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdate ) process for Hardy and Gutsy. Thanks. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Sourcepackagename: None => linux Status: New => Incomplete -- IPv6 stateful autoconf cannot be disabled https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/251516 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
