yesterday, I installed ubuntu 2.6.24-19 and I discovered the following
serious security hole:
and here is what I did. I started the computer, chose "recovery mode"
from the menu, chose "root" from the menu, and I could enter "rm -r"
from the console WITHOUT having been asked for a root password !!! So,
apparently any unauthorized user can delete my hard disk.
please fix the bug as soon as possible.
