I have exactly the opposite problem. I installed a 8GB drive (CF Card) into my System, after and choose also "entire encrypted drive", upon boot I tried to hibernate, which failed with "not enough swap space" - I can't remember the value of the swap space (200MB?), but I had to manually configure the partitioning of swap and system to make it work in an notebook environment.
