Good news: It looks like this has been fixed in Intrepid Alpha 3! And for the first time on this laptop, plugging in headphones auto-mutes the internal speaker. :)
Bad news: I tried playing all the audio and video files in the "Example Content" folder, and the audio played, but had annoying, screeching, super-glitchy-sounding noises played on top of it. Has anyone else tried the Alpha?
