I thought I had a work around by changing these settings under "Capture
Card Setup" -> "Recording Options":
check -> "Open DVB card on demand"
un-check -> "Use DVB Card for active EIT scan"
Prior to these changes, I was seeing 3-5 failed recordings per week.
But since, I haven't had a failed recording, until today, in 18 days.
So, not a valid work around at all, but these setting changes do seem to
have some impact on this issue.
