Step to reproduce: install an application, which works with internet (i used
bank client and Zimbra Desktop). Try to connect some sites using DNS name, like
launchpad.net. The "java.net.UnknownHostException" error will occur.
If use IP address - all works fine. 32-bit system also works fine. Kubuntu 8.04
amd64.
