Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kde4network
Using Kubuntu Hardy with KDE 4.1 rc1, x86. When trying to add a network folder in Dolphin, it displays an error: "cannot find knetattach" or similar. The problem is that knetattach is not located at the expected location /usr/lib/kde4/bin/knetattach but only in /usr/bin Manually adding the link allows to proceed to the share connection options but fails with another backend tool: kfmclient (similar error message). This time it is located in /usr/lib/kde4/bin but not in /usr/bin This time manually adding the link did not help. Browsing the share does work, but I cannot add the share via Dolphin as expected. (I have setup access to my samba shares manually in /etc/fstab but it would be nice via GUI...) ** Affects: kde4network (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Cannot connect to network share in KDE with Dolphin https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/251629 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
