To enable apport please use your favorite editor in place of the word editor in the following command sudo editor /etc/default/apport on the second line of that file you will see enable=0 change the 0 to a 1 save and reboot pc. now try to reproduce crash and you should atleast get a report left in /var/crash if you double click it apport will send it and it will file a new bug (this is good to do) so that LP can retrtace your crash log to give us the issue. this is much easier than obtaining a backtrace but you can do either. That should go for everyone that sees a crash. -- Sincerely Yours, John Vivirito https://launchpad.net/~gnomefreak https://wiki.ubuntu.com/JohnVivirito Linux User# 414246 ** Changed in: firefox-3.0 (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- Firefox randomly and silently exits https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/238775 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
