Hi Chris, I'll do my best!
In the uploaded screen-shot 'OpenOffice.org2.4.png', you can see the 'Data Series' window that appears when editing how a particular data series is displayed in the graph as seen in openoffice.org-calc 2.4 (the default version on Hardy Heron). Changing any of the items on the left- hand side of this window will affect the line connecting up the data points. The 'color' [sic] option, when changed, will affect both the colour of the line AND the fill colour of the data points (in this case: blue). The colour of the border around the data point (in this case: black) cannot be changed at all. In the screen-shot 'OpenOffice.org2.2(Borders).png', the same window and tab can be seen, this time from openoffice.org-calc version 2.2 (the default version on Feisty Fawn). The layout here is identical to that of the 2.4 version, except for one thing: the 'color' [sic] option affects the BORDER of the data points, not the fill colour. The fill colour can be changed by using the 'Area' tab (see the screen-shot 'OpenOffice.org2.2(Area).png'). The arrangement in version 2.4 seems to be a step back from that in 2.2, and was wondering if it was possible to have the old 2.2 arrangement re- instated. Regards, Mark Pokorny. ** Attachment added: "OpenOffice.org2.4.png" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/16272587/OpenOffice.org2.4.png -- [IDEA] Changing border colours of chart symbols https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/216992 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
