Thanks for the patches bill/Tom.

the problem I had was the repo wanted to upgrade top the latest version,
even when I did "lock version" from Synaptic. Rather than using dpkg-
divert as was suggested above, I re-built the packages with the version:

1.1.2-2ubuntu2.1.1

instead of

1.1.2-2ubuntu2.1

I hope this is ok and does not break the naming conventions with the
next update in the repos.
