Hi, I've tried the fix given by alexander on hardy 8.04, but this has not cured the network-manger issues.
FF3 still starts offline, and I cannot enter Prism, which thinks I am offline, but offers no way to change this. I followed the instructions as given, but got a number of errors on the last line: dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot -b can you please explain a little more what this mean, and how I might be able to get this to work, as I was trying to find a replacement for google talk, as pidgin seems to have fallen victim to the NM issue also ( I connect my 3G USB via a script ~ ppp0 ).
