Public bug reported: Binary package hint: mozilla-firefox
The vertical kerning of the default sans-serif font looks terrible (bordering on comical or unusable) in Firefox. This font is often used as a fallback if the Microsoft core fonts are not installed. For an example, see: http://www.listentofeist.com/ on a stock Ubuntu 8.04.1 installation. I've attached a screenshot illustrating the problem in Firefox 3 on Ubuntu 8.04.1. ** Affects: firefox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: fonts -- On a default install of Ubuntu 8.04.1, the generic sans-serif font is broken https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/250917 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
