Ok I used the "automatic sound information collection" and the result is
uploaded here: http://pastebin.ca/1075506

I have got three "soundcards" in my PC:
1) HDA-Intel - HDA NVidia - the onboard sound
2) SAA7134 my DVB-T tv-card
3) ICE1724 - M Audio Revolution-7.1 which is the problem

Todady I tried again using the digital coax out of my revoution-card. So
I played around with the alsa mixer settings. I unfortunately even
changed the "Multi Track Internal Clock" to "IEC958 Input". Since that I
had no sound with the revolution and I can't change it back.

Does anyone know how I can reset the alsa mixer settings?
"alsactl restore" doesn't has no effect.

Regards
Arthur
