I've just tried it. The cam seems to be recognized, but when I try to use it in Ekiga, all I get is a flickering pink/green screen.
I've tried CamStream, and I discovered that I could actually see a pink/green semblance of myself if I set it to CIF (352x288). It isn't very clear what I mean, so here's the snapshot : http://www.daluzduque.be/stuff/snapshot-20080718.png While it could be used to converse with green aliens, most of the people I want to videoconference with don't look that green (even when they're very sick). And for the record, it is a WHITE t-shirt. ;-) Any ideas about what could cause this? -- Creative Labs Webcam Plus (Model PD0040) doesn't work out of the box https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/37739 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
