My patch addresses a completely different issue to the bug that was already linked.
The bug I was fixing has nothing to do with http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=536614. In particular, the problem itemized in this bug is very different to that bug. My patch can _only_ fix bugs when the dbus connection is severed.
