Public bug reported: Hi guys,
I get my ubuntu downloads from my local isp (as it doesn't count towards my download limit) which has an ubuntu mirror, all is good and well updating wise, but I can't seam to find the ISO images for the latest alphas. The kubuntu alpha iso's are there, just not the ubuntu ones. A direct link to where it should be: http://mirror.internode.on.net/pub/ubuntu/releases/8.10/ Discussion in this thread suggests there is something wrong further up: http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=1012654 "I'm not sure exactly which server(s) Internode use to sync their mirror with, but it seems like the glitch is somewhere upstream of them because ALL the Australian mirrors are missing the Ubuntu 8.10 images." Are any other mirrors in other countries missing the ubuntu iso images, is this by design/for a reason? ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- ubuntu alpha iso images mirrors not syncing properly https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/248747 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
