Bug still exists - I'd say it is a show-stopper since the application as
is does not work at all.

Macobas' post does not fix anything related to the problem as best I can
tell. The problem isn't that new themes can't be installed, as best I
can tell by the name of this bug anyway and the description, but that
already installed themes cannot be selected.

A number of pointer themes show up when I run gcursor - but none of the
dialog buttons respond. You can't browse to the theme directory, you
can't install new themes (Macobas found out how to do this manually
apparently), and you can't select existing themes. The only button that
does ANYTHING is "Close".

Is anyone working on this?
