in today's updates, a fresh breezy install CAN be updated to dapper without problems. and that 'dapper-from-breezy' install can be updated to edgy
at the time of the bug repport, a breezy OS used in everyday work, failed to update to dapper. i think that possibly a previous update of coreutils (in breezy everyday updates) broken the package and causes upgrade to dapper to fail. this is an old bug and has little feedback. i think that you might close then as 'not-reproducible' or 'little-incidence' or 'resolved by a new coreutils update' 2006/10/24, Michael Vogt <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > > It isn't a issue on dapper->edgy upgrades.
