here a comment by me : i tried many things like the completly remove of the fglrx driver, the envy driver and so on. after this i had a solution. but 2 weeks later i have many trouble after an daily update with the window manager gnome. i change to fvwm2 ,but here also many problems. I was realy frustrated. So i used an image from gutsy gibbon before the update and now im use gutsy gibbon again.
My opinion to hardy heron : nice, some faster but not realy stable. to many updates / week. next time i will install a normal debian with good and realy stable updaterelases. In hardy are to many not realy stable driverparts. Also im think that ubuntu must have a small and fast paketmanager and it needs also not a big controlcenter, because the controlcenter use nonconform linux-configfiles. this was the reason why i changed from suse linux to debian ... greetings sbod -- fglrx installation crashes after distri update 7.1 to hardy https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/235808 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
