I think this bug is caused by the firmware upload error ? Just before the system starts responding after resume the message "eth1: firmware atmel_at76c502_3com.bin is missing, cannot start." shows up on the screen and in the system log. After this message the system starts to resume X etc. and i can log into my session.
I've got installed atmel-firmware package (1.3-3).
