Public bug reported: Not sure which package this falls under.
After yesterday's upgrade to GNOME 2.22.3, I could no longer switch keyboard layouts using ALT+SHIFT as I normally do. Also, they GNOME keyboard applet RMB menu listed only USA as a valid group even though both it and the secondary layout I use (hebrew lyx) where listed in the keyboard preferences dialog's layouts tab. The layout options dialog still listed ALT+SHIFT as the selected value but it did not work. After I logged out and logged in again (and restarted X, not sure if its related), the GNOME keyboard preferences' layout options dialog specified both ALTs as the selected keyboard shortcut, and re-setting everything as I wanted to worked fine. Still - it was a massive confusion as I didn't understand what is wrong and it took resetting the session and going over all the keyboard settings again to go back to where I was before the update. Mighty annoying. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Keyboard layout switching shortcut is reset after upgrade to gnome 2.22.3 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/247748 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
