Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gksu

Starting with Hardy, running Wireshark using gksu (or su-to-root or the
Network menu) results in Wireshark hanging when it tries to close the
Capture -> Interfaces dialog. In other words, every time I click Start
or Close on that dialog, the application freezes up.

This does not happen when running Wireshark using sudo.
This did not occur on Gutsy.

wireshark 1.0.0-1
gksu 2.0.0-5ubuntu3
