Hi everyone, I'm experimenting a similar problem and looking up I found a some other problems like this. First my problem is with a program named "avogadro" I upgraded it and the problem started. When i try to run it by clicking on its icon it does not work so I run it on terminal and i got the next message:
avogadro: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libavogadro.so.0: undefined symbol: _ZN9OpenBabel5OBMol8GetMolWtEv well i found that somebody has had problems like this one with Firefox and XChat after upgrade CAIRO and PANGO to their latest versions, and the error message was something like this one: -------- symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libgtk-x11.2.0.so.0: undefined symbol: g_object_compat_control the solution he found was by upgrading gtk+2 and glib.
