What version of firefox are you using? What video card do you have? Do
you have desktop effects enabled? compiz or beryl and version of desktop
effects package. Does this happen in safemode? to find out close firefox
and run firefox -safe-mode from terminal. Does changing your screen res
to use 1600X1400 or 14001050 change things?
