Not a gedit problem, setting to e2fsprogs (best guess, no fsck package
available for Affects).
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug, but we need more
information before we can proceed with the bug report. When did fsck
run? During boot?
Can you please post the output of the following commands?
uname -a
apt-cache policy e2fsprogs
sudo fdisk -l
sudo blkid
Then please attach your /etc/fstab file. If that is not the entire log
from /var/log/fsck/checkfs then please attach the entire log file.
