** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: ldtp

  Upstream bug: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=541847
+
+
+ Please describe the problem:
+ Using the 1.1.0 version in Ubuntu Intrepid 8.10.
+
+ When running any python LDTP script the LDTP server returns a 'Server
+ disconnected' error.
+
+
+ Steps to reproduce:
+ 1. Get debsource from https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ldtp/1.1.0-1
+ 2. Build the debian package. (you will need to remove libgail-dev first from
+ the debian/control file, that it is no longer needed)
+ 3. Install ldtp and python-ldtp packages
+ 4. Try to run any of the python scripts that you might have
+ 5. The server always returns "Server disconnected" error.
+
+
+ Actual results:
+ Traceback (most recent call last):
+ File "test.py", line 12, in <module>
+ selectmenuitem ("frmTopExpandedEdgePanel", "mnuCalculator")
+ File "/var/lib/python-support/python2.5/ldtp.py", line 816, in
selectmenuitem
+ _responseStatus, _responseData = getresponse (_requestId)
+ File "/var/lib/python-support/python2.5/ldtp.py", line 202, in getresponse
+ raise LdtpExecutionError ('Server disconnected')
+ ldtplib.ldtplibutils.LdtpExecutionError: 'Server disconnected'
+
+
+ Does this happen every time?
+ Yes
