Public bug reported: I upgraded from Gutsy to Hardy today. After rebooting my onboard ethernet didn't work anymore.
~$ uname -r 2.6.24-19-generic The workaround from https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/136836 doesn't work on this motherboard (neither 'msi=0 msix=0' nor 'msi=1 msix=0'). I've put in a Realtek card for the time being, which does work. If I boot the previous kernel (2.6.22-15-generic) then the onboard ethernet works fine. I've attached 'lspci -v'. ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Onboard ethernet doesn't work (nVidia CK8S) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/246090 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
