hm-m-m, It's hard to say. I use IBM thinkpad t20. it was mentioned in specification that it had 750MHz processor and some tests showed that. but when it is detected by operational system it shows 500MHz processor. now I wonder if it could be the reason that linux (either with or without KDE) works on it slower than WinXP.
