Workaround for this bug: Run the Ubuntu Install CD in Rescue Mode In Rescue Mode, open the terminal prompt into the installed system Find lxfb.ko and delete it off the filesystem & reboot Black lxfb in /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-framebuffer
It's an ugly workaround but it keeps lxfb from loading & causing mischief. -- LXFB should be blacklisted in /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-framebuffer https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/237186 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
