Sorry, I didn't that thread so far. But updating the firmware was not the cure for my problem. Meanwhile I found an other post witch a very similar problem here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=696022
I just got my hardware back from the vendor the second time. They say they tested the hardware but did not have any kind of failure. I wonder if they really tested like thy should. Tests were done (again!) on Win XP Pro which does not seem for me to be a 64 bit OS. Neither Prime95 or 3DMark seems to me like appropriate testing applications for this hardware. Last but not least they run 533 and/or 800 MHz. This combination should run on 1066MHz. As it seems to me to be a hardware defect or even an incompatibility between the involved components I just canceled the payment for that stuff and send it finally back where it came from. -- xfs possibly conflicts with AMD Phenom x4 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/234085 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
